Benilde Alumni Association Donates \u20b11 Million to Empower Hope Scholars<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Benilde Alumni Association has once again shown the true meaning of service and giving back through its meaningful <\/span>\u20b11 million donation<\/strong> to the <\/span>Benildean Hope Grant Scholars Program<\/strong>. More than a financial contribution, this is a powerful investment in the dreams, education, and future of deserving Benildean students who need support in pursuing their academic journey. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This milestone also reflects the strength of the Benildean spirit\u2014one that believes in solidarity, generosity, and creating opportunities that transform lives. Through this initiative, the Association not only uplifts scholars but also encourages corporate partners and the wider community to take part in building a future where no deserving student is left behind.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a profound gesture of solidarity and commitment to the values of education and community, on June 19, 2024, the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Alumni Association donated 1 million pesos to Benildean Hope Grant Scholars and Activated Corporate Partners in Support of Academic Excellence. The pledge was made during the 35th Year Celebration Fun Run of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, held on May 19, 2024, in Asean City, Paranaque. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This contribution is a testament to the association’s unwavering dedication to providing academic opportunities to students who need financial assistance to realize their educational dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Benildean Hope Grant Scholars program has been a lifeline for many students, offering them the chance to pursue their studies and achieve their aspirations despite financial challenges. The CSBAA\u2019s donation further strengthens this mission and encourages the Benildean community and corporate partners to join in this noble cause.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Erickson Edgar Jao, Executive Director of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Alumni Association, shared his heartfelt message:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Education has the power to change lives, and at Benilde, we believe that every student deserves a chance to reach their full potential. This donation is more than just financial support; it is our way of giving back to the institution that shaped us and of ensuring that future generations of Benildeans have the same opportunities we had. We are also extending our hand to our corporate partners to join us in this mission, so together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change in the lives of many deserving students.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The donation from the CSBAA not only enhances the Benildean Hope Grant Scholars program but also serves as a call to action for corporate partners who share the vision of providing access to quality education. By fostering a collaborative effort, the association seeks to create a sustainable model of support, ensuring that financial limitations do not stand in the way of any student’s success.<\/span><\/p>\n

The donation, which will significantly benefit the college’s scholarship initiative, was formally accepted by Benilde President Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC together with key Benilde administrators, including Chancellor Mr. Benhur Ong, Mr. Angelo Marco Lacson, the Vice Chancellor for Academics, Mr. Juan Ramon Odulio, the Vice President for Administration, Ms. Marilyn Cimatu, the Vice President for Finance, Mr. Jose Albert Llamas, the Vice President for Innovation, Mr. Diogenes Ungab, the Senior Head of Financial Planning and Analysis Unit, Ms. Chona R. Rodulfa, the Director of People and Organization Development Office, Mr. Geronio Ulayao, the Benilde Antipolo Provost, Ms. Kathrina Candelaria, the Benilde Alumni Association Board of Trustees Vice President, and Mr. Mhendrit Venezuela, the Benilde Alumni Association Administrative Manager.<\/span><\/p>\n
